I have over 18 years of experience in accounting and auditing. For 15 years, I performed audits of nonprofit organizations with a CPA firm located in Arlington, Texas. In my last 2 years with the firm, I served as an audit partner on my engagements.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, and my Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). I am licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas.

I am very active in the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the organization, at both the state level and for the Fort Worth, Texas chapter. Through the TXCPA, I enjoy leading trainings for fellow CPAs and speaking to accounting students to encourage them to become CPAs.

I am also very involved with the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Women’s Alliance. I was proud to serve as the Chair for the 10th Annual Inspired Women Luncheon in 2021, where the Women’s Alliance awarded over $20,000 in scholarships to women enrolled at UTA and Tarrant County College (TCC). And I am very excited to serve as the Chair for the Women’s Alliance for 2022-23!

I also serve on a couple of other Boards. I’m on the Board of Directors for Higher Education Servicing Corporation/inspirED, a nonprofit organization that services student loans and promotes career- and college-readiness to high school students in Arlington, Texas. And I’m the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Dental Health Arlington, a nonprofit low-cost dental clinic that also works to educate children about good oral hygiene.

I’m honored to have been named to Arlington’s Inaugural 40 Under 40 Class by the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Arlington Today magazine.

Outside of work, I love traveling to tropical locations, trying new restaurants, going to the theatre to see Broadway musicals, and binge watching tv shows on Netflix with my husband Patrick.
